About Victoria
Victoria Rosefield writes about the things we want but cannot say aloud. Her fiction lives in the space between desire and consequence — where the most dangerous choices feel like the only ones worth making.
She grew up between cities, raised on the kind of books that were passed around in secret and discussed in hushed voices. She began writing seriously in her mid-twenties, filling notebooks with stories she was too afraid to show anyone. The first time she let someone read her work, they told her it was too honest. She took that as a compliment.
Her debut novel, Sex Degrees of Separation, was born from a single question: what if every person you ever loved was connected by something you were never meant to discover? The answer took three years, four complete rewrites, and more late nights than she'll admit.
At thirty-three, she lives somewhere between the city and the sea, and writes best after midnight. When she is not writing, she is reading, or travelling to places that feel like the opening line of a novel.

A Very Important Member of the Family
Every great story needs a loyal companion. Teddy is mine — endlessly devoted, impossibly charming, and the true heart of our home. He has sat beside me through every chapter written, every late night, every moment of doubt and delight.
"The best kind of love is unconditional — Teddy taught me that."

Meet Freddy
Every home needs a little magic — and Freddy brings it in abundance. This tiny Yorkshire Terrier has the heart of a lion and the charm of a leading man. He has stolen scenes, stolen hearts, and on more than one occasion, stolen my seat on the sofa.
